Emilie De Roo is a Belgian actress, writer, director, and musician known for her versatile work across film, television, and music. With a career spanning more than a decade, she has appeared in a wide range of Belgian productions, moving effortlessly between drama, comedy, thriller, and crime.

Her film work includes H4Z4RD (2022), in which she played a truck driver, and Young Hearts (2024), where she portrayed Nathalie in the acclaimed Belgian coming-of-age drama.

De Roo’s television credits include Beau Séjour 2 (2021), as Esther Teirlinck, 3Hz (2021) as Patricia, and Grond (2021) as Vanessa. Since 2022, she has played Delphine Verhaeghe in the popular Belgian comedy series Nonkels. She subsequently appeared in Arcadia (2023) as a police officer, De Twaalf (2023) as journalist Nico Willems, and Exen (2023) as Hiske.

In 2024, De Roo took on the roles of Sabine Dupont in Sphinx and Karolien Timmers in Juliet. Her more recent credits include Dood Spoor (2025), as Cleo, and Oh, Otto! (2025), as Helena. She is also set to appear in Omerta, the new series by director Tom Goris.

From 2012 to 2018, De Roo formed the electropop duo Kenji Minogue with Belgian musician and performer Sarah Vandeursen. The duo became known for their distinctive blend of electronic pop, humour, and theatrical performance, adding a notable musical chapter to De Roo’s creative career. The duo was seen in Felix van Groeningen film Belgica.

Alongside her acting career, De Roo is expanding her work behind the camera with Vero Forever, her own dramedy series. The project marks her debut as a screenwriter and director, introducing a new dimension to her creative career. Through Vero Forever, De Roo steps beyond performing to create and shape her own stories and characters.
