Koen De Graeve finished his studies in 1995 at Studio Herman Teirlinck. Since then he has been part of many small and big theatre companies. In 2006, together with Günther Lesage and Ryszek Turbyasz, he started his own collective, called ‘Lazarus’. Since ‘Dagen zonder lief’ (Days without love) by Felix Van Groeningen, he interpreted various roles in many Belgian feature films. He had the leading role in Time of my Life by Nic Balthazar, in Half Way by Geoffrey Enthoven and in Brother by Geoffrey Enthoven. He won the Ensor for Best Actor in 2010 (The Misfortunates by Felix van Groeningen) and twice the Flemish TV award for Best Actor in 2010 (Van Vlees en Bloed by ) and 2012 (De Ronde by Jan Eelen). He played the main character in a vtm -series, called Studio Tarara, produced by Shelter. He was also the male character in the series Déjà-vu and is to be seen in the film Ferry on Netflix.
