Already at the young age of nine, Spencer Bogaert appeared in the theatre production ‘The Night Follows Day’ which was performed throughout Europe and the world. Spencer followed this success with ‘Before Your Very Eyes’, a theatre production from Campo Victory, touring International stages. At the age of thirteen, Bogaert made his debut in the movie ‘Labyrinthus’ by Douglas Bowell. The film received the Youth Award at the Sao Paulo International Film Festival, and Spencer won the Ensor for Young Talent in 2014. In the film ‘Vincent and the end of the world’ by Christophe van Rompaey, Spencer played the title role of Vincent. In 2016, he shot the movie ‘Alpha’ by Albert Hughes, playing Kappa. He was a metal singer in the series ‘The Twelve’ which will be shown on Belgian television in 2019. He played the main character in the first feature film of Mathieu Mortelmans , called Bastaard. He had a small part in ‘Ma mere est folle’ (supporting role – dealer) by Diane Kurys. In the summer of 2018, he played in a supporting role (Boris) in the French film Les Voeux by Sarah Suco. In the meantime, Bogaert studies Filmmaking at the Royal Academy of Fine arts in Ghent.
